VR Headsets

Our headset solutions make training as simple as you want it to be and as powerful as you need it to be.

Virtual reality is changing the way we work, learn, play and relax. VSI is developing the next generation of VR applications for training and education headsets.

VR headsets allow us to take our first steps in the world of virtual reality training making the perfect companion for streamlining costs and increasing efficiency.

The Oculus Rift is a virtual reality headset developed and manufactured by Oculus VR, released on March 28, 2016.

The Rift has integrated headphones which provide a 3D audio effect, rotational and positional tracking. The positional tracking system, called "Constellation", is performed by a USB stationary infrared sensor that is picking up light that is emitted by IR LEDs that are integrated into the head-mounted display. This creates 3D space, allowing for the user to use the Rift while sitting, standing, or walking around the same room.

The Samsung Gear VR is a mobile virtual reality headset developed by Samsung Electronics, released on November 27, 2015.

When in use, a compatible Samsung Galaxy device acts as the headset's display and processor, while the Gear VR unit itself acts as the controller, which contains a custom inertial measurement unit, or IMU, for rotational tracking, which connects to the smartphone via micro-USB. This IMU is more accurate and well calibrated with lower latency than internal smartphone IMUs, such as those used for Google Cardboard.

The WiFli VR is a mobile virtual reality headset developed by Wifli Corporation, released on February 1, 2016

The WiFli VR works seamlessly between Android and Apple applications making it the most versatile mobile solution. At just 380 grams, the lightweight plastics, aluminum alloys and foam cushioning help to create an immersive experience free from distractions while leading-edge optical design provides an immersive visual experience allowing eyeglasses to be worn while using the headset; suiting all user types.
